Crude oil prices edge lower

Oil prices edged lower on Friday. The US WTI crude futures for November delivery declined by 1.7%, to $40.30 per barrel, while Brent crude futures for December fell by 1.7%, to $42.43 a barrel at 12:26 GMT.
