WTI rises as stockpiles drop for second week

West Teas Intermediate crude increased on Wednesday traded close to its highest level in more than a month after a government report showed that inventories in the world's largest consumer of the oil, U.S., dropped for the second successive week. WTI for delivery next month fell 2 cents and it traded at $98.49 on the NYMEX as of 2:30 p.m. Singapore time.
