Sweden's budget surprisingly came in surplus in the month of September mainly due to SEK 21.6 billion proceeds from share selling in Nordea, while economists originally expected the budget to record a deficit, the National Debt Office reported on Monday. The report showed that the country's budget posted a surplus of SEK 28.3 billion compared to SEK 6.2 billion deficit initially estimated.
