German shares stay flat on Friday

German shares were slightly changed as they traded close to their two-week high as growth in the world's second largest economy increased its pace of growth the first since 2010. Growth in the nation revived. The DAX index advanced 0.1% to 7,738.48. The index has gained 1.6% this year. Commerzbank AG advanced the most by 2.17% as an index of banking stocks in the Stoxx Europe 600 Index climbed 1.73%. K+S AG increased 1.7% to cap further losses in basic materials shares that were 0.12% down. Beiersdorf advanced 1.36%, supporting the consumer, halting further decrease in the consumer services sector that paired biggest losses in the benchmark gauge and declined 0.92%. ThyssenKrupp AG lost 1.30% and triggered a 0.12% decline in the basic materials shares, whereas Deutsche Lufthansa, the German airlines that provide passenger and cargo transportation, eased 1.06% to pace losses in consumer services. In addition, RWE, German second biggest utility provider, slid 0.95%.
