The total number of new added jobs in the United States surged in September, as economy is growing, fuelling sentiment among businesses and forcing them to employ more staff. According to Moody's Analytics data, companies from non-farm sector created 213,000 new jobs last month, up from 202,000 in August. Therefore, payrolls are increasing more than 200,000 for the sixth consecutive month. Unemployment rate, in turn, is predicted to stay at previous level of 6.1%. Analysts underline that manufacturing sector, which accounts only for 13% of U.S. annual output, added 35,000 new jobs, the fastest monthly climb since 2010. Moreover, small business continue to contribute a lot to employment's growth, as firms with total number of employees between one and 49 gave a job to 88,000 people in September.
Meanwhile, manufacturing activity in the world's biggest economy, as mentioned before, remains strong and helps local communities to recover from crisis times. According to the latest statistics, PMI Index for this particular sector stood at 56.6 points during the previous month, which indicates a sustainable expansion. However, as long as labour market and all sectors of the U.S. economy are experiencing improvement, the Federal Reserve may take deterrent actions in order to prevent overheating of the economy, which surged 4.6% last quarter.
