Spain's GDP growth tumbled 0.3% in Q4 of 2011

Spain's GDP contracted by 0.3% in Q4 of 2011, reported the national statistics agency. The slowdown of the growth is attributed to low domestic demand. The figure is basically in line with expectations of the Bank of Spain forecast. Considering yearly changes, the GDP expanded by 0.3% in Q4 of 2011. The Bank of Spain expects the GDP growth to contract by 1.5% this year and expand by 0.2% in 2013.
