Eurozone unemployment rate reaches a new high

September, the eurozone unemployment rate reached a new peak as the debt crisis
sharpened, thus creating concerns about recession. The jobless rate surged to
11.6 per cent the former month from 11.5 per cent in August. Throughout the last twelve months, the number
