Swedish Krona is expected to reach record level versus Euro

The Swedish Krona is expected to reach a record level versus the common currency. The Krona will strengthen to 8.0480 per Euro, as Sweden is one of 12 countries with AAA rating ranked by 3 biggest credit-rating agencies. Its currency has been strengthening after becoming a haven from the Eurozone's debt turmoil. The Krona climbed 0.8% to 8.2732 per Euro in NY after appreciating 1% to 8.2546, the strongest since June 2000.

Yen rebounded from earlier losses

The Japanese Yen rebounded after the BOJ refused to add stimulus at its policy meeting. The Yen gained 0.1% to 78.35 per U.S. Dollar after losing 0.2% earlier, while climbing from 96.97 to 96.99 per Euro. The BOJ decided to keep the asset-purchase fund at $573 billion (45 trillion Yen) and lending facility at 25 trillion Yen.

Germany's exports and imports tumbled in June

According to the Federal Statistics Office, German's exports and imports tumbled in June by 1.5% and 3%, respectively, from the previous month.  The total value of exports is at 92.3bn euro level, while the value of imports is 76.1bn euros. Despite worsened fundamentals, the exports to other countries, which are outside of the Eurozone, soared 20% from a year earlier.
