Elliott calls for Akzo Nobel's Burgmans dismissal

On Tuesday, Elliott Advisors stated it filed a legal claim to oust the Akzo Nobel chairman Antony Burgmans, saying that the takeover refusal offered by PPG was a violation of the Dutch corporate law and company's fiduciary duties.
