Wall Street edged higher on Tuesday, boosted by better-than-expected U.S. retail sales data and the improvement of Germany's economic growth. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.2%, to 13,189, the S&P 500 jumped 0.3%, to 1,408, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.3%, 3,030. Germany's GDP added 0.3 per cent in the Q2, while French GDP was unchanged. Retail sales in the U.S. rose by 0.8%, after declining for three months in a row.
