You can get rich by trading anything, be it the FOREX, Stocks or Commodities. The only thing what u should do is to plan your trades and preparing some trading rules. Later strict implementation is required. Like what shall be your entry and exit levels, what is the margin level you will be using (according to your account size and risk taking capacity) I have seen investors trading without keeping uniformity on the lot size of there each trade.

i m sure if you follow the rules and you also need to know that FOREX is business the product is currency and you need to know when good time to buy and Sell.
