Aussie advances versus Greenback on profit-taking

The Australian Dollar rose against its US counterpart on Friday, as the Greenback was mostly easing after the recent rally, while traders were taking profits. The AUD/USD pair managed to rise above the $0.71 handle in the session, trading 0.44% higher at $0.7104 by 09:45 AM GMT. Meanwhile, the recent report from Australia revealed that country's PPI for the third quarter improved considerably to 0.9% from 0.3% in the prior quarter.

Oil edges down on US growth concerns

Prices for crude oil gave up earlier gains amid traders' reaction to weaker-than-expected US economic growth in Q3 and worries about an increasing global glut. Futures for WTI for December delivery dropped $0.27 trading at $45.77 per barrel, whereas Brent futures for delivery in December were down $0.22 to trade at $48.58 per barrel. EUR/USD above $1.10 handle

The US Dollar was trading lower against the Euro, which continued its recovery for the second consecutive session, primarily due to weaker US data that pushed the Greenback lower. The single European currency broke the handle of $1.10 after plummeting beyond 170 pips following Wednesday's FOMC meeting. The EUR/USD currency pair moved 0.31% higher to reach $1.1009.
