Pound adds versus euro as Weale predicts rise in rates

The Pound appreciated for a second day versus Eurozone's currency after Bank of England policy maker Martin Weale stated that U.K. yields should increase as the economy grows. The U.K. currency advanced 0.3% to 83.43 pence per one euro as of 11:36 a.m. London time after it touched 83.29 pence on Mar 20, the highest level since Mar 12. The Sterling added 0.1% to $1.6542 after it gained 0.2% during Tuesday trading session.
