European stocks almost unchanged before rate decisions

European stocks remained stable on Fed saying the U.S. economy is recovering moderately, as investors awaited central-bank meetings. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index gained almost 0.1% to 302.45 as of 9:53 a.m. London time. S&P's 500 Index futures lost 0.1%, while the MSCI Asia Pacific Index added 0.1%. The interest rates are expected to be kept unchanged at 0.5%, according to economists.
