EUR/USD: US Employment data sets

The European Single Currency depreciated against the US Dollar, following the US Employment data sets release on Friday at 13:30 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate gained 21 pips or 0.19% during a minute, right after the release. On the following minute, the rate depreciated to push the European Single Currency to trade at the 1.2380 area against the US Dollar.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released Non-Farm Employment Change data lower-than-expected of 20K compared to forecast 180K. Note, that the Average Hourly Earnings and the Unemployment Rate were released at the same time with the Non-Farm Employment Change.

USD/CAD: Canadian and US Employment Data Sets

The US Dollar depreciated against the Canadian Dollar, following the Canadian Employment Change data release on Friday at 13:30 GMT. The USD/CAD exchange currency rate lost 53 pips or 0.39% . The US Dollar continued trading against the Canadian Dollar at the 1.3410 area.

EUR/USD: EU Main Refinancing Rate

The European Single Currency depreciated against the US Dollar, following the EU Main Refinancing Rate release on Thursday at 12:45 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate lost 27 pips or 0.24% during a minute, right after the release. The European Single Currency continues trading at the 1.1255 area against the US Dollar.
