USD/CAD: Canadian Employment Change

The US Dollar depreciated against the Canadian Dollar, following the Canadian Employment Change data release on Friday at 13:30 GMT. The USD/CAD exchange currency rate lost 62 pips or 0.47% . The US Dollar continued trading against the Canadian Dollar at the 1.3260 area.

The Statistics Canada released the Canadian Employment Change data that came out better-than-expected of 66.8K, compare to forecasted 6.5K.

Note, that the US Non-Farm Employment Change was released at the same time with the US Employment Change.

GBP/USD: UK GDP and Manufacturing Production

The British Pound depreciated against the US Dollar, following the UK GDP data release on Monday at 09:30 GMT. The GBP/USD exchange currency rate lost 22 pips or 0.17% during a minute, right after the release. The British Pound continued trading at the 1.2905 area against the US Dollar.

GBP/USD: UK Official Bank Rate

The British Pound depreciated against the US Dollar, following the UK BOE Official Bank Rate data release on Thursday at 12:00 GMT. The GBP/USD exchange currency rate lost 34 pips or 0.27% . The British Pound continued trading against the US Dollar at the 1.2895 area.
