USD/CAD: Canadian Trade Balance

The US Dollar appreciated against the Canadian Dollar, following the Canadian Trade Balance release on Thursday at 13:30 GMT. The data release was insignificant. The USD/CAD exchange rate gained 2 pips or 0.001% right after the release. The rate continued trading at the 1.3420 level against the Canadian Dollar.

The Statistics Canada released the Canadian Trade Balance data, which came lower-than-expected. The index was negative 1.2B compared with forecast negative 0.7B.

The Statistics Canada says, "Exports of energy products fell 12.4% to $8.8 billion in October. Exports of crude oil (-16.2%) drove the decrease, offsetting most of the earlier gains in 2018. Crude oil export prices were down 15.4%, the strongest monthly decrease since February 2016,".

Light/USD: US Crude Oil Inventories

The oil price has appreciated after the US Crude Oil Inventories data release on Thursday at 15:30 GMT. The one-minute candle gained 48 pips, or 0.94% right after the data release. In the next minutes, the rate was trading at the 51.00 level against the US Dollar.

EUR/USD: US ADP Non-Farm Employment Change

The European Single Currency appreciated against the US Dollar, following the US ADP Non-Farm Employment Change data release on Thursday at 13:15 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate gained 15 pips or 0.13% during a minute, right after the release. The European Single Currency continued trading at the 1.1360 area against the US Dollar.
