The British Pound strengthened against the Greenback, following the UK Current Account data release on Friday. The GBR/USD currency pair gained 22 pips, or 0.17%, to continue fluctuating in the 1.3167 area.
The Office for National Statistics released the quarterly UK Current Account data that came out better-than-expected of negative 17.7B. The difference in value between imported and exported goods has improved during the last three periods.
Gary Howes stands: "The increase in exports of goods was due to exports of finished manufactured goods increasing by £0.8 billion to a record £47.6 billion, which has been a result of a rise in the exports of cars, along with exports of oil increasing by £0.4 billion..."
