Price for gold reached 1,610.00

On Wednesday, January 8, gold renewed the seven-year maximum at 1,611.73.  

Yellow metal has been appreciating actively against the US Dollar since the beginning of current trading week due to tensions on the Middle East. 

Note that the demand for other safe-haven assets and currencies also has been increasing due to the US-Iran crisis.
