Meirelles believes S&P downgrade will not hinder growth

The Finance Minister of Brazil Henrique Meirelles stated on late Saturday that a decision by rating agency S&P to downgrade country's long-term sovereign debt rating to BB- from BB will have no impact on projected 3% GDP growth.
