RBA leaves the main rate unchanged

The benchmark interest rate in Australia was kept unchanged after the Reserve Bank meeting on Tuesday, matching economists' expectations. Therefore, the rate now is at its historic minimum level of 2.5%. Last time the RBA decreased the main rate in August, namely by 25 basis points. The RBA Governor said that the regulator is still uncertain about strength of the economic growth in the country.
