Japanese current account jumped in September

The surplus of Japanese current account surprisingly climbed to its five-month record level in September of this year, while it reached as much as 587 billion yen, a 14.3% surge from the previous year. At the same time, economists expected the surplus to advance to 401 billion yen. Analysts point on the positive impact from the government's monetary easing policy and from the weaker yen.
