I would like to write a few thoughts for those who read now or in the future my blog posts. As it was mentioned I joined Dukascopy community in 2010 and since then I have quite a few prizes won. Maybe there are new traders reading this so in case you are wondering if the prizes were real money the answer is Yes. Do I trade live with Dukascopy? Yes. Let me state it this way, Dukascopy has the best contests around and also the best trading conditions you'll ever find and great support and community. That's why I stayed for more than 5 years, I don't say it because I am grateful, it's I want to let you know how it is. I'll give you a recent example so you can make your own judgement. Last week I was long eurusd using 33% of my margin with a 5 pips stop loss, just before making new highs, The stop loss was at 1.1363. It was quite a big size, being stopped out would have been a big loss. Eurusd dropped to 1.13633 and then it rallied and not looked back. The position was on the edge with just 0.3 pips away. Think of the execution and liquidity. I was happy and also curious to see where did euro get on other brokers which claim great spreads. I won't say its name but I'll tell you that eurusd would have touched my stop loss. Yes, I am grateful for great services and great contests so I thank Dukascopy for them. If anybody has any questions I'll be glad to answer them.
Good luck to everyone in the contests...oh and let me tell you something in case you haven't noticed. In March I started the contest with a margin call having too much leverage and I lost half of my equity in the first day, so never get discouraged and be confident in yourself.
