Greetings dear traders,
This week the main focus of the speculators is the FOMC Statement and Press Conference on Wednesday, and We should see pre-news speculation on the Major USD pairs ahead of the release. The triggers for the Speculators can be the GBP CPI and US Core CPI releases Tomorrow.
Regarding the MPC Asset Purchase Facillity and Bank Rate votes release on Wednesday, there will be no major Market Impact unless the number of votes on the release will be less than 9 against any changes in the Monetary Policy. If We take into consideration the fact that most analysts expect 100% the first increase of the rate in November 2014, We should see some speculation on this release.
JPY pairs are still in Risk Off mode, especially EUR/JPY, but FOMC can change everything.
GBP/USD - SWFX Sentiment Index Shows 71% Bearish Sentiment, (Thursday 60%)
- Open Positions Ratio - 73% Bearish (Thursday - 58%),
- Sell Stop Orders - at 1.6935 - 1.694 ( at Monthly R1 Pivot - now support), and at 1.69 (Weekly Main Pivot)
- Buy Stop Orders - Huge Volume at 1.70 - 1.7010 with No Supply, next Demand at 1.705 (Weekly R1 Pivot confirmation) and 1.71 (Monthly R2 Pivot Confirmation), also with almost No Supply
EUR/USD - SWFX Sentiment Index Shows 51% Bullish Sentiment, (Thursday 52%)
- Open Positions Ratio - 55% Bullish, (Thursday 59%)
- Sell Stop Orders - Strong Volume at 1.35 (Largest Liquidity in the Order Flow Book, But the Huge demand at this level makes me think that the speculators will not allow the price to trigger the Buy Limit orders if Euro will goo back above 1.37)
- Buy Stop Orders - Low Volume 1.358 and 1.36 (Supply from 1.36 until 1.38)
USD/JPY - SWFX Sentiment Index Shows 74% Bullish Sentiment,(Thursday 73%)
- Open Positions Ratio - 65% Bullish, (Thursday 65%)
- Sell Stop Orders - Strong Volume at 101.70 - 101.50 (Highest Demand above 101.50 and at 101 Level)
- Buy Stop Orders - at 102.00 (Key Level confluence between Weekly Main Pivot and the EMA on 4 H) and 102.40
