The patience of the markets against Catalonia has dried up. Investors ignored the conflict throughout the month and, finally, realized the scale of regional risks. The Prime Minister of Spain, Mariano Rajoy, reacted aggressively to the Catalan referendum. Currency pair EUR/USD dumped like an abyss that is not very well displayed on my trade this week.
