The Bearish movement which had guided the Euro during this week continues on Thursday, thus allowing the exchange rate to hit the lower boundary of a dominant ascending channel.
The EUR/JPY currency pair, however, remained under the pressured of the 55– hour simple moving average for the past days. By the middle of the European trading session on Friday, a resistance formed by the weekly pivot point at 130.96 was pushing the price further south.
Technical indicators stay bearish for the following session, thus pointing to another set of decline today.
