The Euro maintained its gradual movement northwards during Monday's session. It gained 60 base points against the Japanese Yen yesterday.
Following a breakout from the upper boundary of a channel down, the currency exchange rate also breached the 55—hour simple moving average and tested the weekly pivot point near 132.45.
However, after hitting the weekly PP, the EUR/JPY pair made a U-turn south. This might be a correction for the rate to gather enough momentum to continue it upwards movement.
