China's economic data worsen in December

China's industrial production, retail sales and investments increased in December, however the pace of growth was lower than economists initially expected, the country's statistical office reported on Monday. According to the report, industrial output added 9.7% compared to 9.8% projected for the month, retail sales surged 13.6% versus 13.7% expected growth and investments gained 19.6%, while it was forecast to rise 19.8%.
