Despite US failure to agree on the supercommittee and spreading debt crisis in the euro zone the Conference Board reported that its index of leading economic indicators rose by 0.9% in October as compared to 0.1% increase in September and 0.3% advencement in August. The BlackRock made a forecast that the economic growth will increase by 3% in Q4. However, leading economic indicators are fluctuating all the time and investors should not fully rely on the recent increase in some of them, said Erik S. Weisman, Ph.D., an investment officer and portfolio manager at MFS Investment Management.
