The euro fell from the high around 7 am Friday at 1.0685 all day to the low of 1.0603 after the US close—and then corrected higher by almost exactly 62% to 1.0657. . On the wider move over the last two days, a 50% retracement of the upmove would take the euro down to 1.0568.
On another analysis and what we are foresees that far faster inflation in the eurozone than the ECB expecting. Prices rise by 2% as early as Q2 and stay there for several quarters. The ECB sees only 1.7% on average in 2017 and that’s a jump from 1.1% in December. But sees the weak euro as feeding imported inflation and it won’t be a one-time thing.
Consumers are buying 9% more imported goods and services than in 2009. We all knows that the Exporters are happy to raise prices on higher demand. And the role of the euro as an invoicing currency has fallen. Here’s the turn of events: "Underestimating the significance of the exchange rate pass through will provide the hawkish members on the governing council with ammunition to force a discussion on tapering, earlier than expected as inflation creeps above staff projections.''
When we get a bit confused about the forecast, we look at the weekly chart. This time it of…

The Duskacopy team recently made some major changes to the trader and strategy contest, in a bid to make the contests more transparent and competitive. The changes are very exciting because it reveals a very clear path to success in the contest, especially the trader contest. The aim of this article is to try and reveal this path; I shall also be taking my own advice.
The trader contest is one in which several contestants are given a DEMO account of $100,000USD to trade with for a period of one month. At the end of the contest period, points are awarded and the contestants with the highest points are awarded prices. The prize awards can be seen below.
The new rules to the contest have changed the way the points were previously awarded. There are four categories for which points are awarded:
Performance points (increase in equity)
Signal subscriber points
Orders quality points
Trader’s Blog points
I shall delve into each category and show how maximum points can be easily gotten from these categories, and how to effectively win prizes from the contest. Someone might say similar articles have been written before; those articles were based on old rules so technically they are irreleva

Hello, everyone! I'm not too good in English so in this article I will just let numbers to speak for themselves. Dukascopy offers some nice statistical data on the Traders Contest, but there are still a lot of interesting stuff to discover. Having some technical background it wasn't a big trouble to quickly program a script that crawled through all the pages of all Traders Contest results, gathered the data and put it into my database. So at the end I had a database with full results of every contest month and I was able to run all kind of queries on this database to get any in-depth statistic. So how are we all performing in total? The answer is: very bad. Since December of 2010 till September 2011 we have managed to lose $176 022 673. Yeah, that is right, we wasted 176 millions of contest money. And how are we performing on average? Not too good either. An average participant loses $-25 988 during all of his contest participation. What month was the best and the worst one?Given that average participant only loses money it is not difficult to predict that the best month was the one with the least participants and it was December 2010. In December 353 traders managed to waste only $-11…

Nick and Multisanti - it doesn't change anything - these IP's were duplicating month over month and contestant over contestant. So this number is not correct ;)
