Contest goal

911 Contest aims to introduce Dukascopy 911 Q&A service to Community users and to reward them for their active participation.

Contest model

Community will pay 5000 Dukats or more to every Community user who asks interesting questions on Dukascopy 911 and gets answers that deserve to be paid* by Dukascopy.

Contest rules

5000 Dukats will be paid to a Community user for 20 questions asked in case all the following requirements are met:

1. All 20 questions are asked and answered during contest month;
2. Every question has an answer that satisfies the author of the question;
3. Every such answer with “Satisfied” status is paid* by Dukascopy.

Moreover, for every 10 extra questions above the 20 question minimum participant will be rewarded with additional 1000 Dukats. In other words, if participant finishes the month with 43 questions he/she gets 7000 Dukats!

* Dukascopy Bank pays up to 1 CHF to the 911 user who has answered question and has received “Sastisfied” status, with comment “Thank you, I’m fully satisfied by your answer, you will receive up to 1 CHF from Dukascopy”. Dukascopy is paying for the first answer from user A to user B. However, Dukascopy is not paying for every next answer from user A to user B.

Awarding rules

Dukats will be paid after the contest period is closed to every Community user who has successfully met the requirements set forth in the Contest rules (see above).

Fair play

Dukascopy reserves the right to remove users who are violating fair play conditions from the participation in the contest and/or block their access to Dukascopy 911.

The following activities are considered as Unfair Play:

1. Suggesting exchange of “satisfies”.
2. Promoting aggressive behavior between other Dukascopy members.
3. Insulting or abusing other Dukascopy members.
4. Promotion or Advertising in the service.
5. Creation of Terrorism related questions.
6. Begging in questions and answers.

Other rules and policies

1. Dukascopy reserves the right to use any kind of information posted by Participants within the framework of the Contest for its own purposes without prior coordination and approval from the authors. These purposes may include any kind of promotional activities or publicity campaigns, statistics collection etc.
2. Dukascopy reserves the right to disqualify a Participant, to change the Contest rules, requirements and awards, without prior notice and at any time and at its sole discretion.
