The Swiss Franc is trading in a descending channel against the Japanese Yen. The given pattern was formed following a breakout of another channel down.
The gradual decrease in value has pushed the rate closer to the upper boundary of the senior channel that could result in a possible rebound. The rate failed to surpass a resistance set by the 100– and 200-hour SMA and the monthly PP near 114.20. Thus, the bearish sentiment might take the upper hand and push the Franc down to the monthly S1 and the weekly S2 circa 113.10.
Technical indicators suggest that the Swiss Franc could also trade sideways. If the rate fails to form a distinctive way down in the upcoming hours, this scenario might occur, leaving the rate near the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement.
