EUR/JPY tests 131.00 mark

On Tuesday morning, the EUR/JPY currency exchange rate was testing the resistance of the 131.00 mark. The 131.00 mark provided resistance on December 31, just as the year's trading ended.

In the case that the pair passes the 131.00 level's resistance, it could aim at the weekly R1 simple pivot point at 131.52. In addition, note that the 131.50 mark provided both resistance and support in November.

Meanwhile, a potential decline would most likely look for support in the 50-hour simple moving average near 130.65. Further below, the 130.50 mark and the weekly simple pivot point at 130.45 are capable of stopping a decline. Below the pivot point, note the 200-hour simple moving average and the December 30 and January 3 low level zone at the 130.00 mark.
