EUR/USD: US ADP Non-Farm Employment Change

The European Common Currency traded sideways against the US Dollar, following the US ADP Non-Farm Employment Change data release on Thursday at 12:15 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate lost 4 pips or 0.03% right after the release. The Euro continued trading at the 1.1060 level against the Greenback.

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. released the US ADP Non-Farm Employment Change data, which came out better-than-expected of 195K compared with the forecast of 148K.

Ahu Yildirmaz, Vice President and Co-Head of the ADP Research Institute: "In August we saw a rebound in private-sector employment. This is the first time in the last 12 months that we have seen balanced job growth across small, medium and large-sized companies."
