Costco Wholesale Corporation reported strong financial results for the second quarter and first 24 weeks of fiscal 2026, ending February 15, 2026. Q2 net sales rose 9.1% to $68.24 billion, while year-to-date net sales increased 8.7% to $134.22 billion. Membership fees collected during the quarter totaled $1.35 billion, bringing total Q2 revenue to $69.60 billion. Net income for the quarter grew to $2.04 billion, or $4.58 per diluted share, up from $1.79 billion, or $4.02 per share, in the same period last year. Year-to-date net income reached $4.04 billion, or $9.08 per diluted share.



Adjusted comparable sales, excluding gasoline and foreign exchange effects, rose 6.7% in Q2. E-commerce continued to perform strongly, with digitally-enabled sales up 21.7% for the quarter and 21.2% year-to-date. For the four weeks ending March 1, 2026, net sales were $21.69 billion, a 9.5% year-over-year increase, supported by the timing of the Lunar and Chinese New Years, which added approximately 0.5% to Total Company sales and 4.0% to Other International sales.

Costco operates 924 warehouses worldwide, including 634 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 114 in Canada, 42 in Mexico, 37 in Japan, and the remainder in other international markets. The company's financial position remains strong, with $17.38 billion in cash and cash equivalents and $83.64 billion in total assets. Over the first 24 weeks of the fiscal year, Costco generated $7.68 billion in operating cash flow, paid $1.15 billion in dividends, and repurchased $419 million in common stock.
