The Indian central bank decided to maintain the benchmark interest rates unchanged and signalled that it may keep the rates at current level in the near future, a report released by the bank showed on Tuesday. The Reserve Bank of India kept the key interest rate at a level of 8.00% after the rate was raised by 25 basis points on the last policy meeting.
