The Euro has depreciated 2.70% against the Hungarian Forint since the beginning of July. At the time, the rate reversed from the senior channel at 330.75 and began a new wave down in a junior ascending channel. This shorter-term pattern was breached on Friday—a move which was followed by another decline.
Given that technical indicators still remain bearish in the short term, it is likely that the Euro slides lower during the following days. A possible target is the lower boundary of a short-term channel and the monthly S1 near 318.00. This decline, however, should be short-lived, as the pair is located near the oversold territory.
By and large, it is expected that the rate continues its decline until the bottom senior-channel line is reached in the 312.00/314.00 area.
