UK industry continues to suffer from Brexit

A set of disappointing UK fundamental data was released today, with the Industrial and Manufacturing Production growths edging down to -0.5% and -0.6%, respectively, while the Trade Deficit widened more than anticipated, as Brexit consequences continued to weigh on the British economy.

Euro zone forecast revised to the upside

Official data on Thursday showed that the European Commission raised the Euro zone's growth forecast for this year, expecting unemployment to drop, while leaving the 2018 projection unchanged.

Siemens to slash 1.7K jobs in Germany

Siemens plans to cut down 1.7K job positions in Germany, which is about 1.5% of the personnel in the company's home country, and move 1K positions amid an efficiency drive.
