Greenback hovers near three-week low, while Aussie reaches seven-week high

The US Dollar dived into a third session of losses against other major currencies, driven by a dovish FOMC meeting. The US Dollar index was trading at 94.780. The Euro stepped up 0.1% to $1.372, while the Dollar stayed steady against the Japanese Yen at ¥120.21. The Aussie rose 0.1% to $0.7341, remaining firm after increasing by 4% last week and hitting a seven-week high of $0.7347 on Monday.

Oil strengthens on falling US oil rig count
