Spanish bond yield falls as manufacturing improves in Europe

Italian and Spanish bonds advanced after a report suggested manufacturing expanded more than expected in the Eurozone. Spanish 10-year yield dropped two basis points to 4.67% as of 1:09 p.m. In London. Similar Italy's bond yields went down two basis points to 4.35%. The manufacturing index increased from 48.8 in June to 50.1 in July, signaling growth for the first time in two years.

WTI crude fluctuates as inventories seen declining

West Texas Intermediate fluctuated after a report suggested that U.S. crude inventories shrank, while China's manufacturing sector slowed down in July. WTI for September settlement added 3 cents to $107.26 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent for September delivery traded at $107.91 per barrel, up 51 cents on ICE Futures Europe exchange.
