West Texas Intermediate oil was traded close to its 3-week high, while it was heading to a monthly drop as inventories in the U.S. jumped to the highest level in more than 22 years. June WTI futures were traded at $94.41 a barrel as of 12:01 p.m. on the NYMEX after it jumped to the strongest level since April 10 at $94.50 yesterday.
