Dow trades at a record hogh on Tuesday

Most U.S. blue chips advanced on Tuesday, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average to a record high level, as the Cypriot government finished bailout talks with the so-called troika that granted additional two years for implementing necessary international bailout measures. The Dow Jones Index jumped 0.6% to 14,662.01. Health care providers surged the most among all groups in the index, as Medicare payment rate was raised, boosting medical insurers. Home Depot Inc posted second biggest gain on Dow and contributed to a 1.3% surge in consumer services sector. The home improvement retailer added 1.9% after selling as much as $2 billion of bonds to fund share repurchasing. Procter & Gamble lifted consumer goods group, as it climbed 1.6% to close at $21.22 for the third biggest rally in the benchmark index. On the downside, Hewlett-Packard Company lost 5.2% to cap further advancements in tech shares, as its stock rating was downgraded to sell from neutral at Goldman Sachs. Boeing Co led losses in industrials with its shares plummeting 1.4% to trade at $84.09.
