Shares of Yahoo increased after announcements that China's Alibaba Group, one of the largest China's internet companies, is planning to place a bid to have a stake in Yahoo. Yahoo shares jumped by 3.3% on the Nasdaq exchange. Unknown sources claim Alibaba is ready to pay about $20 per share that is higher than yesterday's close of $16.23 a piece. Alibaba has not made a decision yet, said John Spelich, spokesman of Alibaba Group.
