West Texas Intermediate oil fluctuated on Wednesday trading session amid signs that the U.S. deadlock might come to an end as policymakers took further steps in order to agree on the new debt ceiling. November WTI futures were little changed at $103.51 a barrel, up 2 cents on the NYMEX as of 12:24 p.m. in Singapore after the prices advanced 46 cents to $103.49 yesterday.
