Lew tries to avoid budget default

U.S. Secretary of Treasury Jacob Lew addressed to Congress that his department stated to take some measures to extend the period, in which the government will be able to pay for its liabilities. On October 17 it will be only $30 billion in budget left, while on some days federal expenditures exceed revenues by $60 billion, so the Congress must accept the rise of debt ceiling in nearest days.
