Forecast: India's Rupee will appreciate by 10% on the interest-rate cut

The Indian Rupee will appreciate more than 10% in 2013, as the top forecasts from from investment banks say. That would be the biggest gain in last six years. As analysts say, the RBI, the central bank of India, will reduce its interest rate by 25 basis points to 7.75 and lower the highest borrowing cost among the biggest Asian economies. That would increase the inflow to equities and bonds, also pushing the currency higher.
