Refinery fire causes further WTI fall
As a refinery fire decreased demand the West Texas Intermediate fell to its lowest point
in six months. The Coffeyville refinery could be shut down for as
long as four weeks with the downward pressure on the prices
continuing. Furthermore, this added to the largest fall in more than
two years for the WTI as it fell 6.8% in July.
