US stock index futures climbed on Thursday,
indicating market may open higher, as investors are waiting for US data on
jobless claims and consumer confidence. Futures on S&P 500 index gained 0.4%
or 4.6 points reaching 1,240.80. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial
Average index added 0.3% or 37 points to 12,063 while those on Nasdaq
100 advanced 0.4% or 9.25 points to 2,248.25.
