BTC Technical Analysis: Bullish Trend Holding Key Support

BTC/USD chart shows that price is moving inside a clear ascending channel, which indicates a bullish trend overall. Since early April, Bitcoin has been forming higher highs and higher lows, confirming upward momentum. At the moment, BTC is trading around $74,326, positioned in the upper half of the channel. It recently got rejected near $76,000, which is the upper boundary, and is now going through a short consolidation or pullback phase.

There are several important support and resistance levels to watch. On the upside, $76,950 acts as immediate resistance, as it marks a recent local high that needs to be broken for the trend to continue. Above that, $77,500 is a major resistance level and a key psychological target.

On the downside, $73,180 is the most important immediate support, as price is currently testing this level. If it fails, the next support sits around $71,940, which also lines up with the lower boundary of the ascending channel. A deeper pullback could reach $69,450, which was the earlier breakout zone.



30-period simple moving average is around $72,837 and is sloping upward. Price is still trading above it, which supports the short- to medium-term bullish bias. This moving average may act as dynamic support if the $73,180 level breaks. Recent price candles show smaller bodies with wicks on both sides, suggesting indecision in the market after the strong move up toward $76,000.
