Brent oil tumbled on Tuesday amid demand concerns

Energy futures tumbled on Tuesday amid positive data from the EU and weak US Dollar. Falling durable orders and home prices in the US weighted down on oil's price Moreover, the commodity group lost momentum provided by geopolitical tensions and investors turned to the demand concerns. Record high energy prices created a downward pressure on the demand from key consumers as soaring prices may impact fragile economic recovery. At the same time, investors cashed out from the high prices as sharply growing energy prices appeared to be unsustainable.  Natural gas was the top loser over the day as mild weather forecasts and increased market volatility in the end of the month both sent the commodity lower.
